I have been studying Spanish with Amanda for about 2 years. I have never come across someone with so much passion for the subject. Her understanding, patience, dedication and experience is truly amazing and this has inspired and encouraged me to achieve the level and standard that I am at today.
The lessons are a breath of fresh air, and you can learn, achieve and progress without pressure or fear of failure.
It is a shame that not all teachers are like Amanda, she is a very special and inspirational Spanish Teacher.

Amanda is incredible with my children. She knows how to keep them engaged which is an amazing quality online. My 11 year old daughter really looks forward to her lessons and is thriving with her Spanish. She enjoys it so much that she would like to learn another language. It is actually her favourite subject. It's not my son's favourite thing to do (Lol) however, as soon as Amanda sees him, she knows how to encourage him and after every lesson he has enjoyed it. Funnily enough he is thriving too! It is very important for me that my children learn another language and stick with it and we have hit the jackpot with Amanda!

Our daughters both started learning Spanish and French with Amanda from very early primary school years beginning with fun exercises including listening to music and singing. Through this Amanda developed their grounding in essential vocabulary and confidence to speak foreign languages aloud.
Over time Amanda has successfully progressed them to tackle more complicated grammar including conjugation of verbs and some of the tenses, helping the languages to start to 'come together' for them. The layering of learning over younger years means that at secondary school foreign language has been an easy and natural step for our eldest. Our children have already achieved a lot with Amanda and we are hopeful that with a positive feeling about their ability in French and Spanish they will both be encouraged to pursue them at GCSE and beyond.

Amanda has been tutoring my twins since they were 6 years old- they are now 15.
They truly enjoy each lesson and have developed , beyond words, their understanding, knowledge and confidence to speak the language. Amanda genuinely cares about their progression!

My daughter Keziah decided to study Spanish independently from her school and in addition to German for GCSE. We found a lovely tutor but when it came to Keziah taking her Mocks she received very low grades which worried us both. I came across Amanda's details so took a chance and gave her my details.
From that very first lesson Keziah was completely transformed!! Amanda truly knows exactly what the GCSE course entails in astonishing detail. Keziah's confidence grew astronomically from day one. She was given homework to do and she knew exactly what she needed to study in her free time to reach good grades. She went from a grade 4 to grade 7 in 6 weeks which was entirely due to Amanda's incredible teaching experience and her laser sharp focus in understanding exactly what my daughter needed. In addition she inspired in Keziah a love of Spanish which has meant her continuing Spanish beyond GCSE. I would recommend Amanda wholeheartedly to any parent wanting their child to not only achieve their academic potential in Spanish but to actually learn to love the language in a way that most teachers are unable to achieve. My only regret is that we didn't find Amanda earlier because her teaching is truly transformative.
